Lyft – The Heart of Bolt N Punch
Lyft is the main character in the game Bolt N Punch. We aimed to create a character with charisma, embodying the years of dedicated service she provided at the Food for Thoughts factory. Her unwavering commitment to her boss and her love for the box, which enabled her to lift heavy loads effortlessly, define her personality and backstory.
I designed Lyft as part of my final university bachelor's project, where we collaborated in a team of 30, including artists, programmers, designers, and managers, over two months. Our goal was to produce a fully playable game, released on Steam in March 2024.
During this project, I served as the main character artist for the game. Additionally, I contributed to integration, shader programming, lighting, environment, props, and level art. This experience provided me with invaluable insights into the gaming industry, the dynamics of a small AA studio, and the importance of human interaction, communication, and teamwork.
